Is the price per person or per house?

Per house basis & include the stated number of persons each house can hold.

Do I need to bring my own bed linen?

No, the houses are supplied with duvets and all bed linen. Towels are also provided. Guests will need to bring bed linen for cots, if requested.

How early do I need to book?

We recommend that you book as early as possible especially if you are planning your holiday for the busy months of July and August. Bank holidays during the summer season and these tend to be booked up at an early stage.

Do I require a credit card to book ? How do I book?

Once you have confirmed availability contact us with a credit card for the deposit, alternatively we will hold your booking for 7 working days until we receive the appropriate deposit by post or bank transfer.  Your deposit is payable to Carlingford Adventure Centre by cheque, postal order or bankers draft.

When do I pay in full for my holiday?

The balance is due 3 weeks prior to your arrival.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my reservation?

Any changes to your reservation must be made as early as possible by phone, fax or e-mail. In the event of a cancellation deposits are non-refundable. TOTAL COST is non refundable if less than 3 weeks notice is given.

Check-in time is normally from 6pm onwards but an earlier time can be requested (not available during July & August). During July & August check in time is 7pm. . If you require an early check-in this must be pre- arranged, we cannot guarantee it but we will try our best.

What time do I have to check-out?

Check-out time is strictly 12 noon but a later departure of 2pm can be requested - Surcharge €100 (not available during July & August) Late check outs must be pre-arranged but cannot be guaranteed.
We ask that houses be left as they were found.

Saturday/Sunday/Bank Holidays: 9am - 5pm. Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 7am - 10pm. Tuesday/Thursday: 9am - 10pm

How do I avail of Carlingford Adventure Centre's activities?

You can book any outdoor activity (depending on availability) by contacting us directly on 042-9373100 or emailing info@carlingfordadventure.com. You can visit www.carlingfordadventure.com to check out the range of activities. Pre-booking is highly recommended.

Do I have to pay a security deposit?

A security deposit is required to cover any breakages or damage that may occur during your stay or any additional cleaning. This deposit is returned to you in full providing that the house is left in a clean and tidy condition. (It will be refunded no later than one week after departure). A credit card number or cash is accepted.  The security deposit is €200.00.   

Can I stay for 2-3 days or is it weekly letting only?

Yes our minimum requirement is 2 nights stay. This can be weekend or midweek
